OWNERPrincipal, coach, or instructional leader
ARTIFACTEvidence-based feedback + agreed next step
SUCCESS CRITERIA
  1. Feedback begins with evidence rather than judgment.
  2. The teacher’s interpretation and context are included.
  3. The next step is specific, feasible, and connected to student learning.
  4. A follow-up observation or evidence check is scheduled.
IMPLEMENTATION STEPS

Share the evidence and ask the teacher what they notice about practice and student response.

03

Identify one next move

REFLECTION PROMPTS
  • Did the feedback increase clarity or merely deliver information?
  • Was the next step proportionate to the evidence?
  • What did the teacher help me understand?
EQUITY GUARDRAILS
  • Feedback tied to shared Look For’s must still account for context.
  • Do not disguise evaluation as coaching.
  • Recognize strengths and effective adaptations, not only gaps.
