SUCCESS CRITERIA
  1. Onboarding communicates the school’s identity through experience as well as information.

  3. The sequence includes participation, reflection, and relationship-building.

REFLECTION PROMPTS
  • Whose history is centered in our onboarding story?
  • What hidden norm would surprise a new colleague?
  • Where does the current onboarding experience contradict our stated identity?
EQUITY GUARDRAILS
  • Belonging must not require conformity or silence.
  • Include multiple voices and honest history, not a polished founding myth.
  • Ensure rituals are accessible across culture, disability, language, and role.
