Co-create behavioral commitments with staff that express the school’s desired culture and translate abstract values into visible, mutual action.
Map how instruction, discipline, celebrations, hiring, meetings, communication, and other systems reinforce or erode the intended culture, then select one redesign priority.
Examine whether leadership actions, language, time, and decisions consistently model the cultural norms leaders expect from others.
Help leaders intentionally signal, model, and reinforce cultural norms during everyday interactions, feedback, meetings, transitions, and decisions.
Design meaningful, equity-conscious staff or student recognition that reinforces the school’s core commitments without reducing culture to rewards.
Address moments when behavior, leadership decisions, conflict, or misalignment threatens trust and the school’s cultural commitments.
